Some time ago I wrote a post about my favourite financial podcasts. This time I would like to tell you my 5 favourite Self-Improvement Podcasts.

You can easily find them on Spotify or iTunes.

Let’s start!

10% Happier

10% Happier is an ABC Radio Podcast available for free on many channels (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts…).

I like this podcast because it has many episodes with important and interesting guests, for example Dalai Lama, authors of novels or celebrities.

The speaker is Dan Harris, a newsman who wrote his first book “10% Happier” in 2014 after having had a panic attack in a TV live programme and from that moment he has started this podcast.

The main topics are: meditation, reduction of the stress and how to reach happiness one step at a time.

The Daily Boost | Clarify your purpose

The Daily Boost Page

In this podcast you can find the energy and the motivation that you need to start your day. You can find strategies to help yourself to clarify your purpose, to take control about your time (don’t waste it!), to get focused and to stop procrastinating.

Scott Smith is the author and he posts a new episode every Monday. Their duration is about 10/15 minutes, and I love listening to them in the morning when I wake up.

This podcast is very interesting. It’s made by Stefan James, who tells his life strategies. The topics that you can find are very various. He talks about life management, how to be healthy and physically fit, how to be happy and productive. But you can also find episodes about business like how to start an online business or how to make passive income online.

The new episodes are published three times a week, but Stefan isn’t very regular. The duration of each podcast is about 20/30 minutes.

The fourth Self-Improvement Podcast I want to suggest you is created by Tony Robbins. I suppose that many of you have heard this name before.

He is very famous for his capability to motivate people and to help them to change and take control of their life.

I discovered his podcast and it’s very interesting because talks about many arguments like career and business, productivity and performance, health and vitality, love and relationship.

You can find new Podcast twice a month and the duration is various from 30 minutes until one hour.

Getting Things Done

Getting Things Done Page

Getting Things Done teaches you how to be stress-free in your life. It is like a philosophy based on 5 steps to follow to reach that goal.

The five steps are:

  • Capture: Collect what has your attention- little, big personal and professional things
  • Clarify: understand what is good for you and what’s not
  • Organize: put everything where it needs to be
  • Reflect: review frequently, look over your organization to determinate what to do next
  • Engage: simply do, be confident with your actions.

Getting Things Done is created by David Allen. He interviews other people that have decided to follow this philosophy and they tell their experience. The episodes are published once a month and the duration is about 30 minutes.

I decided to insert this podcast in the list of my favourite Self-Improvement Podcasts because itìs really helping me to be more organized and focused on achieving my goals.
