FF Challenge – Day 17: Read at Least 25 Pages per Day

Here we are to Day 17 of the Financial Freedom Challenge 🙂 Congratulations on arriving here! I understand that these first days may have been challenging for you. This is why I decided to include a day a little lighter. Today we’ll talk about the importance of reading at least 25 pages per day. So take 5 minutes to read this post and let’s start!

FF Challenge - Day 17: Read at Least 25 Pages per Day

What’s today’s task?

As I said before today’s task is not a daily goal. Actually, it is rather a lifelong commitment. In theory, it’s very simple: you must commit to read at least 25 pages per day.

Reading 25 pages a day takes a very little time, trust me. By doing so you will achieve incredible results!

Book Results

You can really change your life with this pace. You have many options: choose the best one for you and incorporate it into your daily routine.

  • Wake up 15 minutes before and read
  • Read during breakfast
  • If you’re a daily commuter read while traveling (bus, metro..)
  • Read during launch or right after it
  • Read in the evening or before going to sleep

You will realize that 25 pages per day is a very low number, but can make a huge difference in the long term.

Just to be clear, I’m not talking about reading only financial books. Read what you really like and you will realize that it is a very easy (but very important) goal to achieve. Obviously, my suggestion is to read also financial books (at least 5 per year), as I wrote some days ago.

In alternative, you can also decide to listen to audiobooks if you prefer. Amazon offers 1 free month for Amazon Kindle Unlimited if you register from this link. You will have more than 1 million books to choose from. After the first month, the price is 9.99 EUR per month. I really suggest you to try out this awesome product. You have 1 month to decide if you like it or not. In the second case, you can cancel your subscription for free.

A brief summary of today’s task of the Financial Freedom Challenge

  1. Understand the importance of reading (or listening to audiobooks)
  2. Read the list above and choose the option that best fits in your daily routine
  3. Include it in your daily routine and make it a habit

My experience

Actually, this is year I’m not reading as much as I would like to. At the moment I’m reading my tenth book of 2019 for a total of 3751 pages (average of 13 pages per day). Very low pace. I really need to work on this aspect.

These are the books I read in 2019:
