Welcome to Day 26 of the Financial Freedom Challenge! Yesterday we have dedicated the daily challenge to the purchase of an experience that reminds us that we must also enjoy life. Even today’s challenge is not financial but I consider it extremely important. So stay focused and read on!
What’s today’s task?
Today’s task is more a goal for life that I cherish a lot.
Speaking it out is very simple: be more generous. I know that being it in practice is completely something else. But I assure you that being more generous can completely change your life for the better.
There is a super interesting quote from Dalai Lama: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”
Generosity has many benefits:
- Stress reduction
- Fighting sadness
- Increasing in our life timespan
- Enhancing our sense of purpose
- Feeling better about ourselves
I think that this list is enough to understand why we should all be more generous.
There are countless ways of being more generous and it is not possible to cover them in a single article. But you can start from the following actions:
- Gives away what you no longer need
- Show appreciation when someone is kind/generous with you
- Fund a cause you really believe in
- Spend time with people in need
That’s it. Are you ready to take your life to another level? If yes, be more generous!
A brief summary of today’s task of the Financial Freedom Challenge
- Understand the fundamental importance of being more generous
- Put in practice at least 2 of the actions listed above
