My 2019 Financial Goals – April Update

April is over and as you probably know at the beginning of the month I like sharing with you the progress of my Financial Goals. If you want to read the March update, you can find it here. I suggest you to read the previous updates in order to understand my progress in each goal.

From a Passive Income point of view, April had been a good month. As you can read in the Passive Income Report that I posted some days ago, I earned almost 120 EUR.

But now, check out my progress!

#1 – Reach a 7500 EUR P2P lending portfolio

4100 / 7500 (54.67%)

In April I did not invest money on P2P Lending or Real Estate crowdfunding platforms. As I wrote in this article, I decided to try the copytrading function on eToro with an initial investment of 500 EUR.

This means that my P2P lending portfolio is still stable at 4100 EUR. If you’re interested in the composition of my portfolio, you can check it out at the page My Investment Portfolio. I’ve already decided that during this month I’m going to increase my Mintos or Grupeer balance because are my preferite platforms at the moment.

#2 – Earn 1000 EUR of passive income

507.07 / 1000 (50.71%)

As I said before, in April I earned 118,95 EUR of Passive Income. If I add them to the previous total I obtain the amount of 507,07 EUR of Passive Income in the first four months of 2019.

In just 4 months I reached more than half of my goal. This is incredible! I could never have thought of achieving this result and I’m incredibly happy. I hope I can get these awesome results even in the next months.

#3 – Have 10 different firms in my stock dividend portfolio

2 / 10 (20.00%)

Unfortunately I did not buy new stocks during the month of April. I need to commit more to this goal during next months. I’m still thinking about investing on ETFs, but I believe that I need more knowledge before investing on them. I always want to know on what I’m investing.

If you have any advices about which stocks or ETFs I should invest in, let me know in the comments! I always appreciate your interaction.

#4 – 15 different cash flow sources

11 / 15 (73.33%)

After adding 2 new new cash flow sources during March (eToro and Lenndy), in April I did not add any more sources. I think that before trying new platforms I should increase the balance of my current platforms. I’ll dedicate next months to adding money on the platforms I’m already using.

#5 – Read 5 financial books

2 / 5 (40.00%)

Finally, I finished “The Little Big Things: 163 Ways to Pursue Excellence”. It’s an awesome management book. An incredible and complete list of “little things” (advices) that allows the reader to improve many aspects of his life (work, attitude, leadership, resilience, networking and many other things).

Moreover I read “Zero to One” by Peter Thiel, one of the co-founder of PayPal. I really liked it for its simplicity and usefulness. It’s incredibly well written and I learned many interesting things about launching a startup. As the cover says, “Notes on StartUps, or How to Build the Future”.

#6 – Increase my Net Worth by 20%

I’m on the right track to achieve this goal. In the previous update I wrote that after the first 3 months of 2019 my Net Worth has grown by 8.35%. I’ll update this progress at the end of June.

I opened a Facebook page for FinanceShot. You can find it here. Like it if you don’t want to miss anything or interact with me. It’ll be a pleasure for me!

  2. Perfetto! Ti scriverò anch’io in caso trovassi qualche difficoltà sulle varie piattaforme a presto!
