My 2019 Financial Goals – March Update

Hi guys!

March has passed away, and today we’re here to write about the progress of my financial goals. If you want to read the February update, I post here the link. I believe that it’s important to read this typology of article month by month, in order to follow my progress in each goal.

In March I beated February from a passive income earnings point of view, and do not forget that February was my best month ever. As you can read in my Passive Income Report that I posted some days ago, I earned more than 168 EUR, that is an incredible amount of money for me.

But now, check out my progress!

#1 – Reach a 7500 EUR P2P lending portfolio

4100 / 7500 (54.67%)

In March I made a little step back in this goal because I withdrew my balance from Twino (more than 400 EUR) and reinvested only 250 EUR on Lenndy. I also invested in eToro, but it does not count as P2P Lending.

At the moment, my P2P lending portfolio is 4100 EUR (Remember that you can always check out my portfolio at the page My Investment Portfolio). I need to work hard on this goal, because it’s not as easy as it seems, because I like to try new things, but I really need to focus on the platforms I already use, choose the best two or three and increase their balance. I would like to increase my balance on Grupeer, Mintos and Envestio.

#2 – Earn 1000 EUR of passive income

388.12 / 1000 (38.81%)

In March I earned 168.47 EUR of Passive Income. Adding these earnings to the previuos ones, I reach a total Passive Income of 388.12 EUR in the first three months of 2019.

I already reached more than 38% of my goal. This is incredible! At the beginning of the year I thought that 1000 EUR of passive income in one year would be an expectional result, but things are going very very well for the moment.

#3 – Have 10 different firms in my stock dividend portfolio

2 / 10 (20.00%)

During March I decided to invest 500 EUR in eToro and I had no money left to buy new stocks. Again, I need to commit more to this goal during next months. One thing I’m thinking about is buying ETF, but I have to inform a lot before choosing which ones to invest in.

If you have any advices about which stocks or ETF I should invest in, let me know in the comments! I always appreciate your interaction.

#4 – 15 different cash flow sources

5 / 9 (55.56%)

I added 2 new cash flow sources during March: eToro and Lenndy. I keep counting Twino as a cash flow source but due to the fact that at the moment my balance on it is only 38 EUR I think that starting from April I will not count it anymore.

#5 – Read 5 financial books

0 / 5 (0.00%)

I’m still reading The Little Big Things: 163 Ways to Pursue Excellence, that is an awesome management book. Substantially, it is an incredibly interesting list of “little things” (advices) that allows the reader to improve many aspects of his life (work, attitude, leadership, resilience, networking and many other things). In recent times I’m not reading as I would like to do. I need to improve my pace.

To Buy the Book: Amazon IT [11 EUR]  (Link)  –  Amazon US [$15] (Link)

#6 – Increase my Net Worth by 20%

After the first 3 months my Net Worth has grown by 8.35%. I’m really happy about this pace, things are going well.

That’s all guys! What do you think about my progress? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Hi. I am enjoying your blog. Very inspiring to see someone showing their FI journey. I am following a similar pathway to you- maybe my passive income stream is about half of yours. Keep up the great work thanks.
