Good morning guys! April had been a particular month for the investing world. The pandemic situation is still very active all over the world, but the market had a great bull run in the last weeks. This is very strange. But today we’re here for my Passive Income Report of April 2020 😀
Moreover, the situation in the P2P lending world is still very troubled: in March investors found out that some Loan Originators on Grupeer does not exist, and so they started to think it’s a scam, exactly like Envestio and Kuetzal. The platform is not yet closed, but the loans are stopped. So my advice is: stay away from this platform!
In the last months, I’ve been modifying a lot my Investment Portfolio: I acquired some stocks, as you can check on the dedicated page, sold some other stocks, and constantly increasing my ETF shares.
As you probably know in February I made my first investment in ETFs. I wrote an article about this particular topic, in which I shared with you the strategy I will follow and the ETFs that I chose. Check out the article: my ETF Investment Strategy. I suggest you to also read my previous Passive Income Report so you can have an idea of how my Passive Income is evolving.
But how much Passive Income did I generate in April?
Earnings from P2P Lending and Real Estate crowdfunding platforms
Earnings from my other Passive Income sources
Total Passive Income: 169,64€
Comments about P2P Lending and Real Estate crowdfunding
I got a decrease from March, due to the fact that I’m moving money from P2P lending and Real Estate crowdfunding to stock market.
This is happening because my strategy for 2020 is to mainly invest in ETFs and stocks, and reduce the share of P2P lending in my Investment Portfolio.
If I add the Passive Income generated in April to the previous total, I obtain a result of 4279,02€ of Passive Income (from November 2017). Remember that you can always find the updated results in the dedicated pages: My Investment Portfolio and Income Graphs.
Month below the average on Mintos, but it is probably due to the fact that I blocked the auto-invest function in order to withdraw money from my balance. My intention is to reach a balance of 500-600€ on this platform.
In March I got a pretty good return (1.10%). In April, instead, the return was 0.81%, in line with my expectation about this platform. Currently, I have 15 loans in my Portfolio and one loan (loan #8162) is defaulted. On February 19 the platform communicated to us that they initiated the legal process for collecting the debt.
I always write that on this platform the monthly return is between 0.25% and 0.35%. Now I can say that this is a lie, because in the last months I got a lower return (0.24%).
April’s return disappointed me: just 0.52%, that is a bad result. But in March I got a super return on Swaper, so we balanced the situation. This is one of the platform in which I intend to reduce the balance, so the auto-invest function is stopped.
I withdrew all my Twino balance some months ago. At the moment I only have two defaulted loans that pay me 0,07/0,08€ per month.
Bad month on ViaInvest (0.53%). But this happened because I stopped the Auto-Invest function because I intend to reduce my balance, and this is exactly what I’m doing in these days.
In April I got an ashtoning return of 1.24%, far higher compared to the return of the previous months. However, I expect such volatility from this platform because it’s one of its characteristics.
Comments about other Passive Income sources
Let’s start from TargetCircle, the affiliation platform that I use to present you interesting bonuses. In April I earned 8,33€ from TargetCircle. This is more or less the amount of money I expect to monthly earn from this platform.
I received some dividends during April, in particul from my investment in Realty Income Corporation (that pays monthly dividends) and the ETF Vanguard FTSE All-World High Dividends.
In April I sold one more copy of my e-book dedicated to the Financial Freedom Challenge. As you know, I finally published the Italian version. I suggest you to check it out, it can be a very interesting read in this particular period. Click on this link to open the Amazon page of the e-book.
The two HYIPs that I use (SolidTradeBank and DiversityFund) made me earn a total of 80,50€ in April. They’re still working fine, even though Diversity reduced the daily interest rate, and I’m continuing to believe in them. I’m withdrawing from the balance of DiversityFund, because I realized I have a too big balance. These platforms are very risky, so pay attention!
At the moment I have 40 active packs on DiversityFund (19x$25 packs and 21x$50 packs) and I receive almost 7$ on my balance every day. The platform decreased the interest rates, considering the difficult period which we’re living. During April I withdrew almost $150 from DiversityFund, and I correctly received my money on Payeer.
Now let’s talk about eToro, the trading platform I’m currently using to copy trade two traders (OlivierDanvel and kela-Leo). April had been a quite positive month: I got a return of 6.06% on my investment. This is due to the positive month of kela-Leo, which recovered part of the previous losses.
Then a brief update about Oval, an application that I use to invest part of my savings. At the moment I have a balance of 131,90€, 15,07€ more than the end of March.
Finally, the latest platform that I added to my Investment Portfolio. I’m talking about Celsius Network, a platform that I use to invest part of my crypto coins. In February I got earnings for 0,71€. Interests on my deposited cryptos are always on time and I suggest this platform to crypto newbies 🙂
Some changes in April:
- I increased my investment in ETFs
- I bought a new ETC dedicated to WTI Crude Oil (ISIN: GB00B15KXV33)
- I sold part of my ENI stocks, with a solid gain
- I decreased my investments in P2P Lending
- I decreased my HYIPs balances
News & Updates
As you probably know on Amazon is already available the English version, that you can find here.
Finally, some months ago I created an Instagram account for the blog. I’m pretty happy about how it’s evolving, and I’m trying to publish a post a day. So please, follow me also on Instagram! In addition, be sure to make part of the biggest italian Telegram group dedicated to P2P lending, P2P Lending Italia.
I hope you liked this new Report, and stay tuned for the next one! 😀
