My Passive Income Report – January 2020

Good morning guys! The first month of the new year is gone, and today it’s time for my first Passive Income Report of January 2020 😀 January has been a month full of events. At the beginning of the year, Kuetzal had some issues. After this, the same happened to Envestio. Now Envestio is closed and investors started a lawsuit against the platform. I invested 300€ on Envestio, and at the moment of its closure, I had something like 1020€ on the platform.

Apart from this, other interesting things happened last month, but I’ll talk about them later. (Maybe you already know what I’m talking about…)

In January I heavily modified my Investment Portfolio, as you can check on the dedicated page. I made my first investment in ETFs. As you probably know, I wrote an article about this particular topic, in which I shared with you the strategy I will follow and the ETFs that I chose. Check out the article: my ETF Investment Strategy.

I suggest you to also read my previous Passive Income Report so you can have an idea of how my Passive Income is evolving.

But how much Passive Income did I generate in January?

Comments about P2P Lending and Real Estate crowdfunding

I’m quite happy about this result. It’s a good starting point for 2020!

As I already said, in January many things happened. Let’s make a recap 🙂

  • Envestio closed, and I lost (probably forever) the 1020€ that I had on it. I deleted it from my Investment Portfolio and counted the loss.
  • I decided to temporarily stop using FastInvest. I withdrew my balance and I correctly received it in my bank account. I want to see how things evolve and then decide what to do.
  • I made some tests on the platforms. I also withdrew from Mintos, Housers, and Grupeer a little portion of my balance just to see how long it takes. I received all the payments two days after my request.
  • I made my first investment in ETFs through Degiro.

So for the moment, I want to see what happen in the P2P world after the failure of Kuetzal and Envestio before investing more money in it.

In any case, my strategy for 2020 was to invest in ETFs momentarily overshadowing P2P Lending and Real Estate crowdfunding. Indeed I started to reduce their % in my Investment Portfolio. My goal is to reduce them to 30% of the Portfolio.

If I add the Passive Income generated in January to the previous total, I obtain a result of 3674,06€ of Passive Income (from November 2017). Remember that you can always find the updated results in the dedicated pages: My Investment Portfolio and Income Graphs.

Mintos

Super month for me on Mintos! I got an incredible result of 1,60% monthly interest in January. I think that it is a one-time performance, and I will never repeat it. In addition, I withdrew 30€ from my balance and I received them in my bank account 2 days after. Very good!

Grupeer

Grupeer’s performance increased in January. Indeed I obtained a 0,99% return, compared to 0,94% of December. As for Mintos, I withdrew a very little portion of my balance (26€) and they paid me in 2 days.

EstateGuru

In January the return got back to decent levels: 0,83%, that is the return that I expect from this platform. I have 14 loans in my Portfolio and loan #8162 is still in default. I’m waiting for EstateGuru to resolve this issue. I appreciate how they work on defaulted loans, so I’m confident.

The last update about #8162 says “The borrower has forwarded the contact details of a potential buyer for the collateral asset to an EstateGuru representative who has since been in contact with the potential buyer. Currently, we are working towards the sale of the collateral asset and hope to avoid involving the bailiff and an enforced sale which would prolong claim’s repayment period.”

Housers

Here the monthly return is always between 0,25% and 0,35%. In January I obtained a discouraging 0,26% on my capital. The positive thing is that I withdrew 10€ from this platform in very little time.

Swaper

A very good result in January! The return I got (1,13%) is one of the highest on Swaper for me. The platform is still working fine so for the moment I do not touch anything on it.

FastInvest

As I said before, I withdrew all my balance from this platform. I received the payments after more than a week, but everything is fine. I’ll see in the future if invest in it again or not. For the moment FastInvest is paused for me.

Twino

I withdrew all my Twino balance some months ago. At the moment I only have two defaulted loans that pay me 0,07/0,08€ per month.

ViaInvest

Average month for me on ViaInvest (0,80%). I have to say that I have some cash drag in the last days because there are not available loans. I hope to resolve this situation as fast as possible!

RoboCash

After a good December in terms of return on RoboCash, January had been a “bad month” with a return of 0,79%. I expect such volatility from this platform because it’s one of its characteristics.

Comments about other Passive Income sources

Let’s start from TargetCircle, the affiliation platform that I use to present you interesting bonuses. In January I earned 16€ from TargetCircle, and considering what happened is a good result.

December had been a zero-month on Amazon Associates and for my e-book dedicated to the Financial Freedom Challenge. I got many clicks on them but zero purchases. I hope the Italian version of the ebook will attract more attention!

The two HYIPs that I use (SolidTradeBank and DiversityFund) made me earn a total of 106,00€ in January. They’re still working fine and I’m continuing to believe in them. I’m positive with both of them so I’m just reinvesting my earnings. I also started to use two new platforms similar to DiversityFund but I don’t want to talk about them here (they’re very risky, so pay attention!).

At the moment I have 34 active packs on DiversityFund (20x$25 packs and 14x$50 packs) and I receive almost 9$ on my balance every day.

Now let’s talk about eToro, the trading platform I’m currently using to copy trade two traders (OlivierDanvel and kela-Leo). January had been a very negative month: I got a return of -2,73% on my investment. The problem is kela-Leo, that in January lost 6,55% of the investment. Very bad! OlivierDanvel instead got a positive return (1,02%) but not enough to cover the losses caused by the other trader.

Then a brief update about Oval, an application that I use to invest part of my savings. At the moment I have a balance of 155,34€. In January this investment made me earn 4,83€. The total return is now 3,25%.

Finally, the latest platform that I added to my Investment Portfolio. I’m talking about Celsius Network, a platform that I use to invest part of my crypto coins. In December I got earnings for 10,62€ (10€ are referral commissions). Interests on my deposited cryptos are always on time and I suggest this platform to crypto newbies 🙂

Portfolio Composition

Big changes in January, as you already know. Last month I made my first investments in ETFs. I’m following the strategy that I shared months ago, and you can check these new entries in the Investment Portfolio page. My next ETF investment will be in March/April with the second tranche.

In addition to this, in January some other things happened. First of all, I lost my investment in Envestio, as you know. I had 1020€ on this platform, and I deleted it from my portfolio.

I also withdrew my balance from FastInvest. For the moment I prefer to analyze better this platform before continuing to invest in it. I had already received the funds on my bank account.

Finally, I tested some platforms from a withdrawal point of view. I tried to withdraw from Mintos (money received in my bank account 2 days after my request), Grupeer (money received in my bank account 2 days after my request) and Housers (money received in my bank account 3 days after my request). Great, I’d say!

News & Updates

I’m still working on the Italian version of the Financial Freedom Challenge e-book. As you probably know on Amazon is already available the English version, that you can find it here. It’s taking me more time than expected, but I’ll publish it. This is a promise!

Finally, some months ago I created an Instagram account for the blog. I’m pretty happy about how it’s evolving, and I’m trying to publish a post a day. It has almost 300 followers, that was the goal that I set for 2019. So please, follow me also on Instagram!

I hope you liked this new Report, and stay tuned for the next one! 😀

    1. Hello! Thank you very much 🙂
Diversity is a hyip (a very risky investment), so it’s suggested to those who want to risk and with a very little amount of money
